The Studio

The Stained Glass Art Company is a privately owned studio near Orlando Florida, offering customized stained  glass  panels and unique customized stained glass windows for permanent installation.  We also offer oil lamps, stepping stones, mirrors, mosaics and clay sculptures.   Stained Glass Art Company is committed to offering uniquely beautiful creations in customized stained glass windows and customized stained glass panels.  Our studio offers over ten years of experience in satisfying our customers with imaginative, high quality stained glass.

Owning a customized stained glass window, or customized stained glass panel adds a personal touch to your  home or office.   If you are building a new home, remodeling or  redecorating, you can enhance the beauty and value of your property, or hide an undesirable view with a customized stained glass panel.  Custom artwork can be designed from an idea, photograph, or picture.  You as the client will be personally involved in the types of  glass, color, texture and design.   Your customized stained glass panel or customized stained glass window can reflect your business, hobbies, family, be modern or traditional, we also do stained glass portraits.  All windows can be made to any size, for permanent installation or to hang in your window casing.  Panels can be used for sidelights, skylights, cabinets, doors, or window treatments.

All commissions are designed and constructed by the artist.  Price is determined by the detail,  panel size and type of glass used. Patterns and designs are property of the Stained Glass Art Company, and cannot be reproduced without the owners permission.

Stained Glass Art Company also specializes in pottery lamps with custom glass inserts.  All lamps are handmade in our ceramics studio.  Because we construct lamp by special order, you can decide on the glaze color and glass design.  We have lamps available in stock ready to ship to you.

All stained glass panels are constructed on a by order basis. The customer can choose the glass used from 5000 samples available. Design and construction comences when a contract is received by us.  We accept Visa, Mastercard,  and Discover. A $40.00 design fee before delivery will be required for a custom pattern.  Lamp prices start at $75.00.  Custom orders are available within 2 to 8 weeks depending on design.

Classes & the Retail Shop

Our retail shop is located just five minutes from Oviedo, Florida. A short drive from the University of Central Florida, Winter Park and the surrounding area.  We offer classes to perspective students who desire to learn the art of stained glass in a relaxed atmosphere.  Our instructors teach on a one-on-one basis, unless you'd like to learn with a friend.  Our class size allows the student individual attention from the instructor and immediate use of the studio equipment.   Class fees are $100.00 consisting of three days of lessons three hours each day.  We supply all the equipment for you to use, all you buy is the glass and the framing for your project in addition to the class fee.  Classes are scheduled at your convenience, day and evening, or weekends. please call the studio for reservations.

We offer a very large in stock selection of Spectrum glass, we also have available samples of Kokomo, Armstrong, Wissmach, Uroboros, and Youghiugheny glass for you to choose from for your decorative design. Prices and availabilty upon request. Delivery of special orders will be in two days. Inland, Glasstar  and Wizard grinders, foil, patina, and solder  are in stock items.   Our prices are competitive, and we have a great selection.  All products are available for shipment nationwide.  Our shop hours are Tuesday through Friday 12 am - 6pm, Saturday 10pm -4pm, and Sunday and Monday by appointment.  These hours  are set for the summer, they will be extended in the fall.   We are also available before and after hours Monday through Sunday for your convenience, just give us a call.  Because the Stained Glass Art Company offers one on one, individual attention, not only to the students, but to the customers as well, we may not always be in the shop when you call.
